I have a lot of synthetic clothing, and I feel guilty wearing them.
I could buy "new to me" clothing made from natural fibers, or I could keep the synthetic clothing I have and wear them out.
One leaches out microplastics in the laundry, but lowers the ecological footprint of each garment. The other does not leach out microplastics, but gives my clothes a bigger environmental footprint.
What do I do? I will keep the natural fiber clothing I do have, and I will try to wear those out, but I am not sure what to do with my synthetic clothing.
