Does anyone else feel like clothes are getting worse while prices keep going up

I feel like shopping for clothes has become weirdly frustrating.
Everything is either $20 and feels disposable, or $100+ and somehow still made mostly of polyester.
And I feel like half the time I’m buying clothes because I love how they look online, only to realize a few weeks later that I barely wear them.
I’m curious if other people feel the same way or if I’m just becoming way too picky lol.
A few things I’ve been wondering:

What’s your biggest frustration with buying clothes right now?
What’s one clothing item you’d genuinely spend $80–$100 on if the quality was worth it?
Do you actually check fabric composition before buying, or does the design matter more?
Would you rather buy something new from a small brand or find a unique piece secondhand?
I also wonder whether people really want fewer, better pieces or if having lots of affordable options is just more realistic.
I’m genuinely interested in how other people think about this because I feel like my relationship with shopping has completely changed.
What’s the one thing you wish clothing brands understood about you?
