Make up that lasts longer?

All the makeup I own is from like 2016. Now I know we are suppose to replace our make up every 6 months, but I don’t use it nearly enough. It’s been over 3 years and it’s still all very full. So I would feel horrible replacing it while there is still so much product left! What is your experience with this? I’m I wrong for keeping it so long? Should I use another brand that has less product so it will be used within this time period? I need help being a girl. 🤷🏻‍♀️
