would you add a tag to your garment for tracing and re-cycling purposes?

we have been prototyping a social venture and I value your feedback and opinions. It is a tech system that would generate unique item IDs for any quality secondhand (and eventually newly produced, designed for life) items. This ID would make it easier to discover and resell clothing, and also allow you to earn royalties on future resales forever (to incentivize everyone to keep items in the ecosystem as long as possible). It would incentivize brands to make higher quality garments.

one starting point is to ask people to register and tag each garment they want in the system. You would have to iron or sew on the tag for this V1 idea to work.
