Has anyone else been hit with an influx of sponsored posts promoting individuals online courses or "master classes" for everything from starting your dream company? The advertisements have been nonstop for me. What really caught my eye were the thousand dollar courses on how to start a sustainable fashion company.
Um, what?
I had a friend who was about to press the add to cart button on one of them, and I was like, save your money I'll teach you all of this for free.
So, I am offering 100% free content on how to start a clothing line. This first post is about how to find an ethical and sustainable manufacturer. I will be releasing a new article about once a week to help guide all of you at home who want to start their dream clothing line while having a little extra quarantine time to work on their goals.
One of my goals with virtue + vice has always been to educate for free. I don't think information should be behind a paywall. I am lucky enough that I make my money from consulting with bigger brands, so I am able to afford to offer this type of free content to everyone else just starting out!
