Recycled polyester thoughts??

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to start a discussion about recycled polyester. Do people think it’s acceptable to use for an organic/sustainable brand?

I’ve read a lot about the process of recycling it impacting the environment and releasing microplastics etc. but on the other hand it’s increasing the lifetime of the already used polyester.

I am just interested to hear the community’s thoughts!
