What makes a brand sustainable?

Hi all,

I'm working on a rating with the goal of ranking brands based on their sustainability.

My objective is not to be able to tell, in absolute terms, what brand is sustainable or not, but more to provide a relative way of reading through brands (which one is more or less sustainable than brand X).

Would you have specific questions you would ask yourself when looking at a brand, to make your mind?
