Is luxury fashion the original greenwashing campaign?

I really enjoyed writing this article from a technical industry perspective.

My thoughts?

Before we had greenwashing, we had "pseudo luxury", like Calvin Klein - flashy campaigns, and celebrity partnerships that convinced us high price tags were wroth it, when in reality, the product was no better than a 6 pack of Hanes.

I also break down the difference between real luxury and real ready-to-wear if you are interested.
