In generations past, the practice of mending and repairing clothes was a common household skill.
Yet, in the hustle and bustle of our modern lives, as parents, we sometimes overlook the importance of passing down these mindful traditions to our children. In reality, repairing clothes can address fashion waste.
I vividly remember the first time I stood before my daughter's wardrobe and asked, 'What can we fix? What can be repaired?' She was initially hesitant and her attempts were imperfect, but today, it has become a habitual practice for her. I'd love to hear stories about how today's children are embracing the art of repairing clothing, despite the fast-paced world they are growing up in.
