I know a lot of discourse usually surrounds the consumption of fast fashion, but what about obtaining an income from one of these companies? I am not referring to the people actually making the clothes, but people higher up in the supply chain (store employees and beyond). Is it ethical to work for these companies? If not, is the profiting what makes it unethical, and if so, would it be considered ethical if part or all of that income were to be put towards anti-fast fashion causes? Just wondering, as I had the opportunity to do a short stint for one of these stores and wasn't sure what the most ethical course of action would be.
