Building a slow-fashion brand centered around handloom & organic fabrics — Would love this community's feedback!

Hi everyone,

Over the last few months, we’ve been working on a project called Aadews to create apparel that completely steps away from fast-fashion practices.

Our focus is entirely on:

  • Natural Fibers: Using pure, breathable cotton and handlooms instead of synthetic blends.
  • Ethical Artisanship: Partnering directly with local weavers to preserve traditional Indian craft while ensuring fair work conditions.
  • Zero Mass-Production: Keeping batches small to minimize fabric waste and maintain high durability.

As a young brand trying to stay 100% sustainable, we’d love to learn from this community: What key details or certifications do you personally look for when deciding to trust a sustainable clothing brand?

Note: Keeping self-promo minimal as per sub rules! If anyone is curious to see our work, feel free to ask in the comments or search for Aadews.
