And no, they aren't frumpy clothes! I mostly source from some of my favourite mid-range brands such as COS, Sezane and Nobody's Child.
I started this newsletter because I was looking for something like this personally, and couldn't really find anything. I'm tired of seeing clothes I love at first glance, only to realise it's polyester. My recommendations are natural-fibre or nearly 100%. I usually don't go over 5% synthetic, although I mostly just stick to 100% natural.
If you're wondering what my background is, I'm a copywriter based in the UK who studied Textiles, Design, Art & Fashion at university. I’ve woven on a loom, knitted on a knitting machine, screen-printed on t-shirts and embroidered by hand. These days I’m at my laptop delving into brand stories, trends and the current fashion landscape. If you'd like to know a little more, I explain a bit more in the welcome email!
