Is Nuuly somewhat or more sustainable or simply greenwashing?

I’ve been avoiding fast fashion for about a year now, but in all honestly I still feel the itch to online window shop when I’m tired and just want to scroll. (This stems from my issues with consumerism. I’ve gotten a lot better and resist the urge, I just hate that I even have the urge despite how much I’ve learned about the consequences on people and the planet)

I love free people/Anthropologie type styles but really try not to shop from them unless it’s bought 2nd hand like Depop. But it’s pretty obvious they’ve flooded Depop and are selling to wholesale vendors who will list so much of their product brand new with tags on 3rd party websites. It feels like even on Depop with certain sellers I’m still fueling these brands.

I like the concept of Nuuly but I’d like to know if people think it’s even worse greenwashing than Depop or eBay?
