Has anyone actually found good sustainable clothing brands in India?
Hey everyone,
I’m Kajal Singh. I’ve been wanting to buy some sustainable clothes for myself, but honestly, I’m a bit lost. There are so many brands online claiming to be “eco-friendly,” but I’m not sure which ones are actually good in quality and worth the money.
If you’ve personally tried any sustainable or ethical clothing brands in India that you’d genuinely recommend, please share your experience. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback before I buy anything.
Thanks in advance 🌿

What do you do with worn out clothes or shoes?
I’m working on a grad project about how people deal with clothes and shoes once they’re past their best. Do you repair, donate, or repurpose them? Or do they usually end up tossed?
Curious how sustainability fits into your choices at that stage.

How I Made My Wardrobe More Sustainable with Custom Apparel
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make my wardrobe more sustainable without giving up on style. That’s when I discovered Apliiq, a platform that lets you customize clothing with different fabrics and details.
Instead of buying a bunch of cheap t-shirts, I focused on designing a few durable pieces I would actually wear for years. I chose a hoodie and a jacket, using fabrics like denim and cotton blends that feel sturdy and long-lasting. Creating pieces this way really shifted my perspective, every item feels intentional and built to last, rather than something I’d replace every season.
Even though custom clothing can cost more upfront, it encourages taking care of the pieces you own and shopping less frequently. Seeing how each item is thoughtfully constructed, from fabric selection to stitching, gave me a new appreciation for mindful clothing choices. Apliiq might not advertise itself as a sustainable brand, but it’s helped me rethink how I approach fashion.
Has anyone else tried custom or made-to-order clothing as a way to reduce waste? I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips for balancing sustainability with personal style.

How Choosing Sustainable Fabrics Can Transform Your Home’s Aesthetic
Sustainable fabrics are no longer just a phenomenon people talk about. It is a conscious choice that many people are making. And there has to be no compromise on the choices one makes. We have these sustainable fabrics available in many colours, textures, and materials, including organic cotton, hemp, and recycled polyester. These offer practical solutions with style at the same time.
Which sustainable fabrics should I choose to transform my home’s aesthetic?
Sustainable fabrics bring qualities that standard synthetic fabrics cannot match. Natural fabrics like hemp, organic cotton, and linen have a natural texture that can elevate any room. These materials age beautifully, developing a character rather than wearing out. We have options like:
- Organic cotton: These are soft, breathable materials available in countless weaves and weights.
- Linen: Creates an effortlessly elegant look with natural wrinkles that add an extra charm.
- Recycled materials: Modern recycled polyester makes luxurious velvet and upholstery.
- Performance fabrics: You can also consider options like Sunbrella cushions that combine sustainability with incredible durability.
Can I use these sustainable fabrics every day?
Many people have the misconception that sustainable fabrics are delicate, but the opposite is true. Sustainable fabrics often outlast conventional materials because they are made with higher standards. Hemp gets softer with every wash, and organic cotton retains its texture much more than regular cotton.
Sunbrella cushions are a perfect example of this durability. Initially designed for marine use, they resist fading, mildew, and stains while being environmentally friendly. You can use them indoors or outdoors, as they are heavy-duty fabrics designed to last.
Can you get designer colours with sustainable options?
Absolutely! Sustainable fabrics offer rich, sophisticated colours with innovative dyeing methods. These fabrics create vibrant hues without harmful chemicals. There are many options available for the dyes, such as:
- Plant-based dyes create earthy tones with natural depth.
- Low-impact dyes help achieve bold, saturated colours.
- Undyed natural fabrics showcase beautiful neutral tones.
- Solution-dried acrylics, like those in Sunbrella cushions, lock in the colour permanently.
Which of my rooms should I introduce sustainable fabrics into?
The short answer is each room, but some spaces show dramatic improvements, like:
- Living rooms: Replace synthetic sofa covers with organic cotton or linen. You can add textured hemp throws and recycled velvet cushions for visual interest.
- Bedrooms: Organic cotton sheets create a healthier sleep environment while looking luxurious.
- Outdoor spaces: Weather-resistant, sustainable materials can transform your outdoor spaces and help you match them with your indoor aesthetics.
- Dining areas: stain-resistant, sustainable cushion covers make a practical choice for your dining area, especially if you have kids.
You do not have to change everything in your home; you can start small. You can replace your throw pillows with organic cotton and recycled fabric covers. Or you can start by changing one set of curtains to see the difference. Sustainable fabrics have the exceptional ability to transform homes by bringing authentic textures and vibrant, lasting colours into luxurious spaces.
Your investment in sustainable fabrics will pay for years of beautiful, functional use while supporting practices that protect our planet. The result is a home that looks professionally designed, feels comfortable, and reflects your values and all without any compromise.

Cotton/cotton cashmere blend scarf
I’ve been on the hunt for a good quality winter scarf for ages now, most of the scarves on the market are wool or polyester/acrylic. I really don’t want to settle and get a polyester blended with a natural fiber.
Does any one have any suggestions for a natural fiber winter scarf that isn’t wool? Avoiding wool bc I have eczema/tsw and I can’t invest in something that is painful to wear for me. Ideally looking for cotton, but cashmere blended with cotton or silk etc should be ok too!

What brands or types of clothing would you recommend for a young, athletic girl looking for modest yet breathable outfits?
Hello, I am a 14-year-old Muslim athlete (I do not wear a veil). Three years ago, I started playing sports very actively
—I train for basketball four hours a week, plus games
—I do UNSS (school sports) every Wednesday for two and a half hours
—I do Pilates and strength training at home, and I plan to add running (haha, yes, I know it's a lot). For the past three years, I've been having problems with sportswear. I would like to dress modestly while still being comfortable.
Shorts are too short, and sweatpants make me too hot and are too heavy. I wear tights under my shorts, but because I fall a lot and wear them so much, they are now full of holes. I have looked everywhere: Decathlon and Intersport (I live in a small town, so there isn't much choice in terms of sportswear stores), but I can't find anything! What's more, the tights I use, which I found at Decathlon or Intersport, aren't designed for sports, so they're not practical at all. They're fine in winter and okay in spring and fall, but in summer they're a real pain! In summer, I feel like I look crazy wearing leggings. I'd like my outfits to be modest and practical while still giving me a basketball player/runner look so I can “blend in.”
So I would love for you to share your recommendations in terms of brands and clothing (long shorts, very light leggings, breathable tops, light and breathable pants, etc.) that combine modesty, comfort, and style. Kisses, I'm counting on you!!!!❤️ Thank you in advance🙏🌹

What Is Sustainable Fashion and Why It Matters
Sustainable fashion means designing, producing, and using clothes in ways that are better for the planet and for people.
It focuses on reducing waste, pollution, and unethical labor practices while promoting transparency, fair pay, and responsible consumption.
Some core ideas:
Eco-friendly materials like organic cotton or recycled polyester
Slow fashion — buy less, but buy better
Fair labor and ethical production
Recycling, reusing, upcycling garments
Traceability — knowing where and how products are made
Why it matters:
The fashion industry contributes nearly 10% of global carbon emissions. Overproduction leads to millions of tons of waste in landfills, and fast fashion often depends on underpaid labor.
New sustainability laws and Digital Product Passports are also pushing brands toward greater accountability.
If you want to explore how brands can build transparency into their operations, this article is worth a read:

Sustainability isn’t a passing trend — it’s shaping the future of fashion.

I do not know who needs to see this, but i am sharing my story.
As everyone, I wore the same clothes that everyone else did — the ones available in the market.
But those clothes weren’t made for us. Not for humans, but humans are still wearing them. They were controlled by the polyester mafia and cheap dealers who, for a bit of profit, decided to play with people’s lives.
At first, I didn’t see it (I was a child back then, can you believe that?). Nobody did (Most still do not.). We just wore what was sold to us (Most still do). But slowly, the truth became impossible to ignore. The fabrics didn’t breathe. They trapped heat, caused skin problems, and spread discomfort like a silent disease. People complained of rashes, constant sweating in summer (all seasons actually), bad odor, restlessness, itching — even in winter, a little movement would drench you in sweat.
And yet, they kept buying (still nothing is changed, for most), because there were no alternatives( Now people have become more aware).
But it wasn’t only about health. These clothes were erasing identity too. One design mass-produced for everyone, stamped as a “trend.” The cycle never stopped. Designs changed, but individuality was reduced & replaced by uniformity. As a result self-expression was replaced by mass consumption. In short, everyone forced to look the same (Still people choose on there own to do the same).
Now back to the main point, At first, I thought maybe it was just me. Maybe I sweat too much or was overthinking (at this point I am no longer a child and took admission in a college). But when I looked around — in villages, in cities, in gyms, schools, and offices — I saw the same thing everywhere (Polyester Clothing). I was researching and get to know this substance at this stage and the truth about this material.
The problem wasn’t mine. The problem was everywhere. So I started asking people why.
Some said, “This is fashion now”.
One said, "This is the best stock that my favourite shopkeeper had".
Others said, “It’s cheaper… only this is available.”
But no one could answer the most important questions:
- Why was only this available, always ready to sell?
- Why should profit come at the cost of people’s health, comfort, and identity?
That’s where LAMAN began. It is mixture of words which roughly translates to "The General Human". So it crossed my mind and i wanted to have something dedicated to other fellow beings and provide an alternative to like minded people.
Not with an invention — because we didn’t invent the t-shirt.
But with a discovery: that we do have an option against all this. I was studying literature and that means the life in that period of a nation. I was well aware about the Dressings and textile culture of many countries and civilizations, all have one thing common, natural clothing fabrics. But in modern times we are wearing synthetic, pollutant and harmful clothing, which no one was addressing, so I did it, for myself, as well as for those who might need it.
This discovery of a problem so big, so deeply rooted, that ignoring it would mean accepting it.
And I couldn’t.
I could not see others suffering the same.

Looking for wool or wool blend maxi skirt
Hello, I need help finding a good wool skirt for winter. I like pleated styles over circle skirts and A-line is a must. Budget is 100-150$ (can go a little out of the range). I prefer wool in winter and I will likely be wearing this skirt nearly every day so it should be durable and I hope to be able to wear for 5-10 years or longer.

What would happen if every pre-loved item you sold carried its own history forward?
How cool would it be to see what happened next to your favorite hoodie you sold or to know that the “lucky shirt” you wore to your dream-job interview helped someone else land theirs?
I’ve always felt that second-hand isn’t second best. But as a reseller, I kept asking myself one question:
-What if all these items , thousands of them, could tell their stories?
-Where they’ve been, what memories they hold?
Every day I’d see things moving: sold, shipped, forgotten. Perfectly good clothes disappearing into a system built only for transactions, not meaning. I think we need more continuity. A way to track the journey, to see the life of an item unfold, to give people a reason to keep it moving rather than hide it in a closet or sell and forget.

Why is it so hard to find things that actually last these days?
I try to purchase things that can truly sustain through the years. But nowadays, it feels almost impossible to find a bag, a pair of shoes, or even clothes that can be your companion for at least five or six years; everything is made to be temporary. (90% of my wardrobe is thrifted/secondhand clothing bc it lasts longer.)
Whether it’s shopping online or in stores, it’s all the same cycle. People buy things to fit into the aesthetic (to match an outfit for the night) to perform a sense of taste. But I don’t think that’s what tasteful really means.
This isn’t just about personal preference anymore. We’re taught to value novelty over longevity, trends over timelessness. (I hate trends) Products are designed to fall apart or fall out of fashion, just so the cycle of consumption keeps spinning.
I don't think we are aging gracefully.
I want to start a business with a meaningful purpose. Where can i buy more thrift stuff in Dhaka and work towards the cause.

The Thrift and Resale Market in the US is Growing
Thrifting has really become part of mainstream fashion now, and I think that says a lot about how people are rethinking consumption. According to a Capital One Shopping study, 1 in 5 Americans thrift every year, and about 30% say they do it mainly for sustainability reasons.
Other interesting stats:
- The U.S. second-hand apparel market is already worth over $50 billion (and expected to hit $74 billion by 2029).
- Saving money is the top driver for thrift shoppers: 88% of U.S. second-hand consumers say they choose used goods for the savings.
- About one-third of clothing and apparel items purchased in the U.S. over the past year were secondhand.
It feels like thrifting has gone from being just a budget-friendly option to something that reflects a shift in values — a way to shop more intentionally and reduce waste.
We know this community leans toward sustainable fashion, but we would like to hear from anyone here. Do you thrift mainly for sustainability, affordability, or just because it feels like a more mindful way to build your wardrobe?

Building a storytelling-based clothing brand — how do you make symbolism feel authentic instead of forced?
Yo guys,
I’m in the early stages of building a clothing collective that revolves around storytelling and generational symbolism, rather than seasonal drops or fast trends.
The concept is inspired by a multi-generational family story, where each collection represents a different chapter — a transition between resilience, love, and legacy. Over time, the brand’s visual identity evolves too (for example, subtle logo transitions and symbolic elements that grow stronger with each release).
I’m curious:
- What makes a storytelling-based brand feel genuine rather than marketing-heavy?
- Do you connect more with subtle symbolism (like hidden meanings in color or form), or direct storytelling (where the narrative is openly told)?
- How do you feel about clothing that changes visually over time to mirror a deeper story?
Would love to hear what makes a brand’s story actually resonate with you — both as a creator and as a consumer.
Thanks for reading 🙏

Embracing minimalism and basic fashion
Hi, All
I have been observing that there's a shift in paradigm and everyone is getting inclined towards the basic fashion, lately. Has it happened because of embracing the minimalism and translating the same ideology in lifestyle or fashion for that matter? Or it's just another trend followed in order to break the pattern in search of something new & fresh fashion styling sense?

Would a ‘Depop for surplus materials’ actually help small clothing brands?
Hey y'all!
I’m a student working on an idea for a platform that helps small clothing brands and independent designers find suppliers and trade surplus materials extra fabrics, blanks, packaging, and more) easily and affordably.
Before I start I would love to validate my business idea to make sure it is a real problem and not just something that just sounds good on paper.
So my concept would work
So I would create a a peer-to-peer platform where small brands can:
- Buy or exchange surplus materials from other creators.
- Access vetted suppliers for a small fee ($5 per list or monthly membership).
- Earn credits when they upload their own surplus
- With the credit system creators can access suppliers items with the credits earned

Fixable? Merino wool sweater

I have some questions a brand from TikToks
I’ve been following From Me 2 U Clothing for a while and was really hoping to see more affordable gothic fashion options. However, after looking into them more closely, I have a few concerns I’d like to discuss with others who might have purchased from the brand.
I was considering buying one of their dresses but ended up deciding not to, mainly because of questions around size inclusivity and transparency. It’s disappointing to see comments about sizing being removed rather than addressed, especially for a brand that presents itself as sustainable and community-driven.
I’ve also noticed some inconsistencies between their messaging and their content. The brand frequently emphasizes being “handmade,” yet in another video mentioned working with a manufacturer. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, because many small brands do, but it would be nice to have clear communication about how and where their products are made.
Additionally, some reviews mention issues with quality and materials that don’t seem to align with the prices being charged. I know some stretch fabrics are necessary for certain designs, but it would help to know more about the sourcing and production practices to understand what makes the pieces sustainable.
I’m not trying to hate on the brand or its owner, I actually want to support small alternative labels. I just think open and honest discussion about experiences and transparency helps everyone make more informed choices. Has anyone here ordered from them? What was your experience like in terms of quality, sizing, and communication?

Are big brands actually able to profit while being sustainable?
I feel like every physical retail store or popular online shop is either using underpaid labor (even slavery) or using environmentally destructive materials. I’m really curious to know which super popular or always talked about brands are actually secretly (or not so secretly) horrible in terms of labor, environment, etc. I recently found out that House of CB is pretty bad which shocked me but I’m eager to know what else I can avoid!!

Natural fibers for clothing- discussions with vegans
So I started to ditch my plastic clothes with natural fibers.
For sports I cant wear cotton since it stays wet and I get sick. So Iam looking into merino wool or alpaca wool.
A vegan friend of mine now confronts me about the cruel treatment of alpacas and so on and that it is cruel to own fiber from animals.
But Iam sick of microplastics all around and dont want them on me anymore.
The friend of mine is using a lot of plastic products because they dont contain any animal stuff ("vegan leather" lol).
What do you think about this? Somehow its all a compromise....

Sustainability and advertising
Posting for discussion as the AI chatbot question got me thinking... In the current hellscape that is the US, I can't help but be completely turned off by essentially all marketing right now, especially on social media. While I want to support sustainable brands, knowing they are funnelling dollars into Meta for advertising makes me sick. I realize they have to play the game and don't really have a choice BUT I was wondering what others are thinking about this. Does how a brand advertise influence you at all in how you think about them?

Behind our techwear: how we design and produce everything in-house
Unlike most fashion labels, we don’t outsource. Every stitch, every zipper, every functional detail is made in our own workshop — from the first sketch to the final inspection.
For us, in-house production means full control over quality, materials, and philosophy. It allows us to experiment with new fabrics, test water resistance, fine-tune ergonomic cuts, and build garments that perform in real life — not just in photos.
We design for movement and longevity, not for trends. Our pieces go through multiple prototypes until they feel right — balanced, functional, and aligned with our Urban Samurai concept. Each item carries the energy of the people who crafted it by hand, with intention and precision.
Would you like to see more from the production side — or how the final pieces look in motion?

Ultimate control tights
So years ago I bought the most amazing pair of control tights. They were footless actually so very versatile. Super soft, seam free stretchy elastic fabric, high waistband without pinching. They’ve been going strong for over 10 years and I’d wear them for every special occasion for a svelte silhouette and even weekly barre class. Sadly the printed label washed off and I can’t recall the brand or shop they were from (UK). I have bought so many other pairs looking for something as good and nothing comes close, even well known brands like Spanx are course in comparison. Does anyone have recommendations that tick the comfort, durability and performance boxes?

Black Friday Investment Guide: Home Essentials That Actually Improve Your Life
Black Friday attracts customers by promising massive discounts often resulting in impulse purchase of items clogging homes instead of enriching daily life. Conscious shopping focuses on quality fundamentals delivering long-term value by being worn on a daily basis, being far more durable, and genuinely boosting comfort and health optimization.
Differentiating Investment and Costs
Why is a purchase an investment, and not just a buy? Qualifying investments enhance quality of life for longer periods and keep or enhance value. Sunbrella cushions are a great illustration of this concept—better weather resistance and fade protection equate to years of consistent service that warrants higher up-front expenses through durability.
Compute cost-per-use instead of concentrating on purchase cost. Goods used for years on a daily basis are of better value compared to low-priced products requiring frequent replacement even if of lower purchase value.
Good Textiles Are a Wise Investment
Why should I buy high end home textiles during sales? Organic throw pillows that are eco friendly remove chemical exposure but also give better comfort, which cannot be offered by synthetic options. Black Friday prices bring down these otherwise high end merchandise for everyday people's reach.
Sustainable blankets are multi-year purchases that enhance sleep quality, keep temperatures in check naturally, and their looks endure amidst thousands of wash cycles—advantages which cheap replicas never provide despite their appealing prices of sale.
Common Black Friday Traps to Avoid
How to resist impulse purchases during sale events? Plan a list of requirements prior to sale events start-up. Focus on products fulfilling existing requirements or comfort holes known instead of buy-for-sale products.
Ask yourself, "Would I pay retail for it if I really needed it?" If no, then your discount is likely not driving real value, it's merely inducing spending without real benefit.
Strategic Categories for Investing
What home essentials deserve Black Friday investment? Prioritize high-contact items that affect daily comfort, bedding, seating cushions, and dining textiles. These items influence well-being multiple times daily, making quality differences immediately noticeable and consistently appreciated.
Table runner investments pay off in dividends of years of entertaining and everyday meals, covering surfaces while increasing aesthetic value through hundreds of occasions ranging from everyday family dinners to holiday events.
True Sustainability Statements Quiz
How can I recognize true sustainable products during sale? Check for more than "eco-friendly" tag to GOTS, OEKO-TEX certifications, or label claims of clear sources of raw materials. True sustainable products give clear information regarding their environmental benefits.
Avoid greenwashing employing environmental rhetoric but lacking meaningful sustainable behavior—deep Discounts for "sustainable" products usually mean doubtful assertions or poor quality products.
Long-Term Value Determination
Good value questions for the long term are whether it meets a genuine need, whether quality is money even when it's on sale, and whether you would be fine having it for 5-10 years compared to it being replaced soon?
Think about maintenance requirements items requiring special care or frequent replacement parts may cost more long-term despite attractive initial pricing.
Building Quality Collections Gradually
Do buy set completions on Black Friday? Begin base pieces first, a good blanket is a better value for money than a set of mediocre pieces. Save up for quality collections over several years rather than rushed set completions of mixed quality pieces.
Opt for multi-purpose products which are useful across seasons and occasions, delivering the highest frequency of use for a conversion of money into real value.
Plan ahead for Black Friday with Sunbrella cushions, sustainable pillows, sustainable blankets, and table runner purchases that pay for themselves each day through quality, long-term performance, and genuine comfort rather than short-term pleasure from sale-priced products.

Underwear
I’m really looking for comfortable organic underwear. Thongs and maybe other cuts like bikini. I’ve looked at cou cou intimates for years but the prices kill me. I’ve also been looking at pact (prices also outrageous). Has anyone purchased both and could give me a comparison or talk about what they like about theirs? ***or if you know another brand? I’ve heard quince underwear doesn’t hold up.
Coucou 100% cotton Pact has like %5 elastane but I believe it’s just for the edges.. would that disrupt the effect/benefit from having organic cotton underwear? I’m not sure how since it’s wouldn’t be on the intimate area.

Waterproof fabric that is vegan, sustainable and affordable
Hi, I'm looking for a waterproof bag and so far the only 2 possibly sustainable options I can find are waxed canvas and oilcloth. The waxed canvas options that are coming up for me are unfortunately out of my price range, however I'm not entirely clear whether oilcloth is sustainable? Searching tells me its protective coating could range from natural materials to PVC.
Could anyone clarify this for me please, or possibly suggest alternative options I haven't mentioned? Thanks!

Durable, breathable and sustainable underwear instead of low quality multi packs - found a winner
Hey guys, A couple months back I asked about finding underwear that was ethical, affordable, durable, and actually performed on another subredit. I ended up trying out bamboo underwear. Heard about it on some random sticker, took a chance, and honestly I’m glad I did. I’ve been wearing them daily for about three months now, which means each pair has gone through around 20-26 wash cycles, and they still look and feel brand new. I train MMA so most underwear I’ve owned don't last, and just ar2nt breathable enough. These haven’t flinched. I only started with 5 pairs but I’m definitely going to grab more. It's important that not only the fabric is sustainable but that it actually lasts. If you’re after comfortable, long-lasting underwear, these are absolutely worth checking out. I got mine from Mokuessentials. Glad to share a success story.

Is Tencel really sustainable, or just another buzzword?
I’ve been seeing Tencel pop up a lot lately. every brand seems to be calling it “eco-friendly” or “better for the planet.” I did a little digging and found out it’s made from wood pulp and uses a process to recycle water and solvents, which sounds great… but I’m curious if that’s true across the board..?
From what I’ve learned, not every brand sources it responsibly. Some just slap the word Tencel on the label because it sounds sustainable, even if their overall production isn’t. (Guess that's not legal?)
On the other hand, I recently found a brand called Silverlyne that’s super transparent about their fabrics (they use Tencel, Angora, silk, and cashmere) and explain where everything’s made. Their stuff actually feels like the kind of sustainability that’s more about quality and longevity instead of buzzwords.
So I’m wondering.. do you think Tencel is actually a sustainable choice if it’s coming from the right kind of brand? Or is it still just greenwashing dressed up in marketing?

The number of ads/spam/AI garbage in this sub in the past week
Back again after 22 days since the previous post.
Since then, I learned (thanks to u/stink3rb3lle) you can request an unmoderated sub to be handed over but since our only mod u/livsndesigns has been active in the past 3 months (not necessarily in this sub) it isn't considered unmoderated so I cannot start the process to find new moderators to get this sub fixed. Or the automod counts as a moderator? I don't know. I'm not looking to moderate this place, just to actually respond to reports and get the ball rolling for who wants to actually moderate.
Did a scan in just the past week here and the number of rule breaking posts is ridiculous.
Some examples:
an aliexpess coupon are you actually kidding me!
4 post spam hosting a block printing workshop
ad for etsy who wouldn't post photos after being asked and said go to etsy instead
I'm tired not doing more but you get the point. Plus the automod generated posts have next to zero interaction and could use an overhaul.
Just a vent and hoping /u/livsndesigns responds. I get life happens and we can't be on here 24/7 nor should anyone be. But we also shouldn't let a sub get taken over by bots/ads/AI/spam. So to keep with the flair, ISO...I am in search of the mod please :)

Hi,

Traceability platforms
Hey, I’m curious if any small clothing brands here are using traceability platforms that also have Digital Product Passport features. Which ones do you use and actually like? And are there any affordable ones that make sense for smaller brands? Would love to hear what’s working for you.

Can anyone help me find out how to properly care for leather shoes?
I have a couple pairs of old Docs (think like 20 years old) and I don't think they've ever been treated. I accidentally got some makeup on them (they were accidentally near where I did my makeup and some fallout happened) and realized how beat up they are. I have heard that saddle soap is good to clean them, which I'd like to do, but I've also heard it's somewhat rough. Also, if I were to use saddle soap, would I still have to use leather conditioner? I love these shoes and would hate to ruin them. Please help!

Redeveloping Women's Care through Healthy, Sustainable Choices
Our own individual care choices count—not just to self-esteem and convenience, but to health and the planet too. During the past decade or so, most consumers have valued the value in useful and environmentally sound products.
To most women who menstruate, gaining the ability to find something that works, is safe, and is healthy for the world became their only concern. In investing in women's feminine hygiene technology, one can conserve waste, maintain a healthy body, and learn to take charge of one's life.
The new product range is better than the conventional one, with eco-friendly variants that improve well-being without taking a hit on performance. From super-innovative shielding briefs to chemical-free tampons, the products are a sustainable consumption and smart living revolution.
Pee Leak Free Underwear: Changing Comfort and Confidence
One of the newer technologies in women's hygiene is pee leak free underwears that offer day-long protection without ever compromising comfort. The unders give wearers the ability to make it through the day without so much as a thought, packaging technology and comfort in a whisper-quiet, washable bundle.
Features include:
• Embedded leak-controlling layers that keep leaks at bay with ease
• Soft, airy fibers with all-day wear comfort
• Washable and reusable, with less dependency on disposable pads
• Stealthy look and feel like regular underwear
This one is convenient for women to enjoy comfort without postpartum, light incontinence, or daily freshness needs by means of more sustainable living.
Metal-Free Tampons: All About Safety
While it is common for most individuals to assume that all tampons are alike, they are not. Some of the biggest brands use chemical-added materials or even metal applicators. Metal-free tampons offer security to ensure that intimate care products are as safe as they are effective.
Advantages of the metal-free product
• They have fewer options for causing an allergy or irritation
• They possess gentle products that are more delicate for sensitive skin requirements
• Earth-friendly manufacturing practices
• Just as absorbent without the additives
Making the change to lower-toxicity tampons is one sign of commitment to body health, in charge of every cycle.
Toxin-Free Tampons: The Cleaner Choice
Informed consumers are making the switch to toxin-free products when it comes to tampons, as people become informed about toxins in products. The majority of tampons utilize pesticides, chlorine, or fragrant chemicals at some point, disrupting the balance naturally.
Why make the change to toxin-free tampons:
Minimize chronic risk of chemical absorption
Bring personal care more in line with holistic health principles
Toxic removal from feminine hygiene products has much wider systemic implications than personal health. It is only one aspect of the larger trend towards openness and sustainability for the feminine hygiene sector.
Order The Best Plastic-Free Organic Cotton Tampons Online
Sustainability has been one of the top priorities in shopping today. In the case of menstrual hygiene, it is about reaching out to biodegradable, renewable, and natural products. These days, it is easy to purchase the best organic cotton tampons without plastic over the internet, and it has never been easier to balance personal care with a green lifestyle.
Top advantages of plastic-free organic cotton tampons:
• 100% biodegradable material that naturally decomposes
• Refusal of plastic applicators and copying unnecessary packaging
• Soft, natural cotton that feels good and absorbs well
• Investment in sustainable farming through organic buying
All these are simply accessible through websites, where healthy shoppers can both buy and think about the planet when buying.
Why Sustainable Feminine Care Matters
Greening with wholesome, environmentally friendly menstrual products isn't cool—a world and health imperative. Single-use plastic and chemically treated products damage the entire world, and each single decision counts.
Why people change:
• Having one's own body protected by putting an end to the risk of toxins
• Lowering landfills and dirty waters
• Businesses that care about equity and sustainability
• Leading the way for future generations to care about sustainability
With every buying decision, one is investing in a world of wellness and a world of sustainability, so that care for the body is merged with care for the earth.
A Final Thought
Empowerment begins in everyday decisions. Reusable period products bring individuals back to hearing their bodies, reducing their carbon footprint, and promoting honest businesses towards a greener future. In leakproof pants, tampons with covers, or eco-cotton, feminine hygiene's future is in transparency, innovation, and compassion.
We at Tampon Tribe are passionate about making high-quality, sustainably produced feminine care products widely available—to pee leak-free underwear and toxin-free, plastic-free tampons, and beyond. We aim to empower humans with the wealth of safe, sustainable products that safeguard well-being, form a better world, and change the future of personal care.

Modelling agency at 15
Hey everybody, I have a quick story to share so I'd appriciate if you could all take some time apart to read it. In the past few months I've been building my own modelling agency at 15, I've been working incredibly hard on it, and I was finally able to finish my website, and make some connections, but there is one problem, my socials are very small currently especially my instagram, and before I launch my website, I'd love to have a lot of people ready to sign up for my agency, my modelling agency focusses on gathering people with real passion for modelling, instead of just people who look good, and I'd love all your support. If you'd all be willing, I'd really appriciate if you could take sometime apart to follow my accounts (instagram: bebeyondmodels tiktok: bebeyondmodels) and share it with a bunch of people you know so that I can really gather people for my launch!

Small Fashion Brand Owners in the EU
I’m curious to hear from those of you running small, independent apparel brands in the EU (or selling to the EU):
👉 What kind of support, tools, or services would make your work easier when it comes to production, supply chain, or dealing with new EU sustainability requirements (ESPR, DPP...)?
What information are you missing, as well, what kind of help (in regards of ESPR/EU regulations) would you actually be willing to pay for?
I’d really value your input, even short replies. Thanks in advance!

Packing light for a weekend camping trip and considering city-to-trail shoes instead of my usual boots. They look versatile and easy to travel with, but I want something sustainable. I really want something that’ll actually survive the trails without falling apart. Any advice?
