Crocheters and knitters, here is how to unravel a thrift store sweater yarn

I have been crocheting for a long time and love to make wearables. I recently found out about unraveling sweaters or dresses for yarn. Below is a good instructional video to watch. I look for quality yarn (linen, cashmere, cotton) and in the color i want or white for dying. I always make sure to get a bigger size then I normally wear to make sure I have enough yarn.

You can buy sweaters with holes in it as you will easily fix the holes by just tying the yarn together. Stained also works because you can just cut the stained part out.

But seriously, you can upcycle a $4 cashmere sweater into something awesome.
