If you care about sustainability, stop wearing synthetic clothing

The amount of microplastics in our oceans is scary. Plastic fibers from synthetic clothing and bedding shed fibers during washing and drying and are being found in the air, lakes and oceans. Plastic fibers are being found in fish, foods that we eat and drinking water. The fibers are near invisible, so you don't know that you are breathing, eating and drinking plastic. The fibers are not biodegradable and will remain in the land and oceans for thousands of years.

Recycled polyester and nylons still shed plastic fibers and are not biodegradable. That's why recycled polyester does not help solve sustainability. I implore everyone to start checking your labels and start looking for natural fibers like cotton, linen, silk, wool and hemp.
