I’m a high school student currently conducting a qualitative research project on sustainable fashion — with a focus on the role of fashion merchandisers in planning, marketing, and implementing sustainability.
As part of my research, I’m collecting insights through open-ended questions. The responses I receive will be used only for educational purposes, and no personal information will be recorded or disclosed. Your anonymity is fully respected, and any feedback is greatly appreciated!
If you’re a fashion professional, designer, merchandiser, or someone with experience in sustainability, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the following: 1.What marketing strategies are used to encourage consumers to choose sustainable fashion? 2.How do you address the cost or efficiency challenges that come with adopting eco-friendly production methods? 3.When planning sustainable fashion products, what do you consider the most important as a fashion merchandiser? 4.What kinds of eco-friendly materials or techniques do you commonly use when creating sustainable fashion items? 5.Do you take consumer awareness of sustainability into account when designing products? If so, how is that reflected in your work?
