Anyone heard of the brand Opolis Optics? Just backed them on Kickstarter but curious if their ocean-bound plastic is legit

I recently stumbled on a Kickstarter for these sunglasses from a company called Opolis Optics - they make eyewear from recycled ocean-bound water bottles (rPET plastic). Since I've been trying to avoid buying cheap, greenwashed plastic products, I decided to back it (first time backing a Kickstarter).

Does anyone know how legit this type of plastic is?

And has anyone tried Opolis sunglasses before? They seem to make stylish products, and they have a solid mission, but I’m always a bit skeptical when brands lean heavily on eco-friendly buzzwords.

Would love to hear if anyone has tried their products or knows how durable their recycled plastic really is.
