Hey r/Sustainability, Just a quick post about something that's made a big difference in my own sustainable fashion journey: switching to organic cotton. We all know conventional cotton is tough on the planet. It's one of the most pesticide-heavy crops, pollutes waterways, and can degrade soil over time. Organic cotton is the better choice. It's grown without harmful pesticides and relies on natural farming methods that build healthier soil. This helps the land, protects farmers, and ultimately means a cleaner product for us. When you're shopping, look for the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification. It's the best way to know the cotton is truly organic and ethically sourced.
